Aastha Satpathi — a resident of Raigarh district — has topped Chhattisgarh’s 10th Board exam conducted by the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) by scoring 99 per cent marks.
While declaring the exam results, School Education Minister Kedar Kashyap said in 2014, the 10th Board exam result was 54 per cent. This year, the result is 55.23 per cent, he added. In the 2015 CGBSE 10th Board exam, 55.36 per cent of the girls have passed while 55.08 per cent of the boys have cleared the exam.
