Governor Balramji Das Tandon said that Geeta is a mystical book of knowledge, bestowed by lord Krishna to the world through his teachings to Arjun.
Geeta has been translated in almost all the languages of the world he said while addressing the inaugural ceremony of five-day event - Shri Krishna Janmashmi Jhula Utsav organized by Shri Shyam Mandal in Shyam Bagichi area of Raigarh on Thursday.
The programme was presided over by MlA Roshanlal Agrawal.
Tandon extended warm wishes to officials and members of Shri Shyam Mandal on Krishna Janmashtami Jhula Utsav.
The Governor also praised the automatic hi-tech tableau based on mythological legends, which were displayed at Shyam Bagichi.
