The district administration is gearing up to make some villages Open Defecation-Free (ODF) by December 25.
An action plan was presented during the concluding ceremony of the five-day community driven 'Total Sanitation Training Programme' here.
On the occasion, Zila Panchayat Chairperson Dr Shweta Sharma urged the people to change their mindset by constructing toilets in their house. Also, she requested the residents to ensure the regular usage of such toilets.
She said the plan of declaring selected villages as ODF will turn true only if denizens and public representatives join hands together and make the campaign a mass movement.
