The hearing of consumer related cases will now commence at the District Headquarters of Gariaband here.
The district forum office here was inaugurated by Raipur District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum Chairman Radhakishan Agarwal on Monday.
Sources said earlier the hearings of such cases of Gariaband were done n Raipur.
Mahasamund Member of Parliament (MP) Chandu lal Sahu and Gariaband Collector Niranjan Das along with other officials were present on the occasion.
Agrawal who is also a Judicial Officer said every citizen is a consumer. The process of consumer forum is easy, he maintained.
The programme was attended by a large number of district administration and panchayat representatives.
