Unemployed women are being provided free technical training facility in various trades for self-employment at Government Women Polytechnic Institute based at Byron Bazar in the city, officials stated.
This free technical training in basic electrical, basic tailoring , beautician and hair dressing (ladies), refrigerator and AC repairing will be provided under Community Development Scheme.
Interested applicants are invited to apply for the training. As per the information received from Principal, a free short-term training programme for unemployed women will also be commenced soon under community development scheme.
To apply for the training, applicant should be of age above 16 years. Education qualification for the training is Std 5th passed to Std 10th passed (as per the trade).
Application forms are available at Community Development Scheme Office, Opposite first floor library, Government Women Polytechnic, Byron Bazar, Raipur, Chhattisgarh, from 11 am to 1 pm and from 2pm to 4pm.
