The Chhattisgarh Housing Board (CHB) has decided to hand over the reserved land identified for hospital and school under Atal Vihar scheme free of charge to the concerned departments, Board officials said on Tuesday.
The Board has been developing the district headquarters, block headquarters, municipal and industrial area and residential colony under the Atal Vihar scheme. The 44th meeting of the Board which was held here on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Board Chairman N. Baijendra Kumar also took several other important decisions. The meeting decided that the Board will constitute separate divisions for the management of property related matters. The Board also gave its nod to the Rs 109 crore worth of different housing schemes. Besides it also gave its nod to implement a housing scheme on the 13.90 acres of land in Radhika Nagar under Bhilai Municipal Corporation.
