Chhattisgarh Police on Wednesday seized a deer skin and two horns valued at Rs 3.5 lakhs and arrested four persons for transporting them to Raipur from Godhi village.
Additional Superintendent of Police (Urban) Abhishek Maheshwari identified them as Bhupendra Kumar Sahu, Faguram Yadav, Lilesh Sahu and Bhisham Bariha.
Two of them are residents of Aarang and two are from Mahasamund district.
They were taken into custody after failing to produce valid documents for possessing the deer skin and horns. A court sent them to prison.
