hhattisgarh Police arrested four persons for trying to sell its skin in Gariaband district, police said on Sunday.
Gariaband Additional Superintendent of Police Chandresh Thakur identified them as Khubelal Yadav, Narottam Sahu, his brother Roshan and Kumar Singh.
Yadav hails from Gariaband while remaining three are residents of Mahasamund district.
They were apprehended on Saturday while heading to Kosambuda village.
The four told the police that they brought the skin from Bagbahara area in Mahasamund district.
