A court has sentenced four members of a family to life imprisonment for killing a 26-year-old alcoholic in 2020 in Chhattisgarh’s Rajnandgaon district, it was announced on Thursday.
Additional Sessions Judge Satyabhama Dubey found the murdered man’s father and three family members guilty on Wednesday, an official statement said.
The victim was Dhal Singh Chandravanshi of Keshal village.
The four were Chandrvanshi’s father Tilakram, mother Sunita Devi, brother Vasudeo and aunt Ramhala Bai, the statement added.
On September 24, 2020, the enraged family members killed Cahndravanshi after being fed up with his liquor addiction and regularly spats with the family.
