For the first time four police personnel in Chhattisgarh were awarded on Sunday with ‘Chhattisgarh Shourya Padak 2019’ for showing exemplary courage while fighting on Naxal front. Two of them received the award posthumously. The award was given by Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel during the state award function in the ongoing Rajyotsava celebration in Raipur. The family members of Sub Inspector Yugal Kishor Verma and Constable Krishlal Sahu received the award posthumously. Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Suresh Kashyap and Head Constable Tati Mukesh received the award in-person.
