The Foundation Stone laying Ceremony of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Raipur will be held on Sunday at Pota Cheriya village in presence of Dr MM Pallam Raju Union Minister of Human Resource Development (HRD) along with Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh and others. The IIM is currently functioning in the building of Government Engineering College Sezbahar.
Ram Vichar Netam, Minister of Higher and Technical Education, Government of Chhattisgarh. Ramesh Bais Member of Parliament (lok Sabha) from Raipur and Bhushan lal Jangde, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) will also be present on the occasion. They will also address the gathering. S. Bhartia, Chairman, Board of Governor, IIM Raipur will deliver welcome address.
Speaking of the upcoming campus the Director Prof. B.S. Sahay said, “The state of the art campus planned at Naya Raipur will be a blend of modernity and cultural heritage of Chhattisgarh.
