A District Court in a historic judgement in a corruption case here on Tuesday sentenced former Deputy Commissioner of Chhattisgarh Housing Board (CGHB) D K Diwan to 10 years of imprisonment and a fine of Rs3 crore.
Notably, the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) had raided the premises of Diwan.
The bureau had recovered assets and cash disproportionate to his known sources of income on November 15 , 2014.
