In a significant decision, the Chhattisgarh High Court on Tuesday directed the Chhattisgarh State Public Service Commission (CGPSC) to form an Expert Committee to re-examine model answers of CGPSC State Administrative Services (SAS) Preliminary exams-2017.
The result of the examinations must be re-declared only after examining the answers of certain questions, it said.
Petitioners Vinay Agrawal, Amit Vishwas and others pleaded before the court that the CGPSC revised the already declared model answers of the examination and because of that they were out from the list in the result of preliminary examination.
The petitioners objected on revised answers of five questions of aptitude test and 5-6 questions of paper of general studies.
The court during hearing of their plea has directed the CGPSC to form an Expert Committee to re-examine the answers of said questions and ask them to take a decision within 15 days.
If the process of re-declaring the new model answer is not completed in due stipulated period, the dates of its Mains examinations would have to be extended, it said.
