'Food scam papers given to media are authentic'

Rebutting the BJP’s allegations that the documents produced by the Congress in connection with State Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department scam were fake, the State Congress chief Bhupesh Baghel said that the documents, the party had presented before media were taken from 'Challan' produced by State Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB).
“The copies we presented before the media were produced as ‘Challan’ in the court by ACB and had the signatures of ACB’s Investigating Officer and DD Sharma the witness in case. Can BJP leaders or Minister term it fake,” he questioned, adding, these documents have the details of money embezzled.
If these papers are false, then the documents presented by State government’s Officer shall be termed false too, he said.
According to Baghel, the Challan produced by ACB officers have mentioned names of only two IAS officers who got Rs 3.5 crore in a period of nine months, however, if we see the documents presented by ACB, about Rs 18 to Rs 20 crores were collected in the same interval over which ACB is tightlipped and the agency should explain where did the remaining money go, Baghel demanded.
He also stated that  BJP MlA Shrichand Sundarani should apologise for  making derogatory remarks on Congress legislative Party (ClP) TS Singhdeo.
Meanwhile, Singhdeo in a press statement said “BJP MlA Shrichand Sundarani should first of all find under which circumstances I had apologized to the Chief Minister. The CM had made an emotional appeal that he was hurt from names of his family member being brought in the House, considering this, I had said that if anyone has been hurt from my statement then we all regret it.”
