The maximum flights are to Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Kolkata, many of which have been axed. Raipur Airport Director Rakesh Sahai said that on Friday, Indigo cancelled six of its 13 flights. Vistara cancelled its only flight. No flights were cancelled by Air India (three flights) and Alliance Air (2).On Thursday, Indigo dropped six of its 18 flights while Vistara axed two flights and flew one.
Air India and Alliance Air did not cancel their flights. Earlier this week also, flights to Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru got cancelled. The airlines gave the passengers the option of refund or rescheduling the journey date. Compared to the first week of January, there was a drop of about 10,000 flyers in the second week.
