The State Government had sanctioned five Public Prosecutors’ office buildings in the current fiscal 2017-18 in various districts, an official press release informed.
The buildings will come up at Katgora, North Bastar (Kanker), South Bastar (Dantewada) , Saraipaali, Dondilohara. The buildings will be constructed by the State Public Works Department.
All the revenue courts of Chhattisgarh will be converted into e-Courts and the process of making them online has already begun, officials had informed in April this year.
Pilot project as e-Court has been started in Korba and Koriya district of the State. After implementation of this scheme in the pilot project districts, it will be implemented in all the revenue courts of the State.
Department officials informed that ‘e-court’ will facilitate hearings of cases, immediate redressals and enhance transparency of the process. Parties involved in the case will be able to receive updates of the hearing process from anywhere.
