Chief Minister Raman Singh on Sunday announced that a ‘Chhattisgarh Fishermen Welfare Board’ would be constituted for socio-economic upliftment of the fishermen community.
The Chief Minister made the announcement while meeting a delegation of Chhattisgarh Dhimar Samaj Mahasabha at his residence. Singh later asked Agriculture Minister Chandrashekhar Sahu and officials of his department to prepare a proposal in this regard.
