Agriculture, livestock development and fisheries Minister Chandrashekhar Sahu on Tuesday distributed cheques to 10 fishermen of Bancharoda village in Raipur district as assistance for construction of their houses.
The Minister has handed over cheques of the first instalment Rs 20,000 each of the total financial aid of Rs 50,000 being given by the Fisheries department to 10 members of Guha Nishadraj Machhuara Kalyan Samiti, Bancharoda for construction of house on their own land. Fishermen Rameshar, Yashwant, Santosh, Mohan, Kamtu, Jeevrakhan, Ramkumar, Ghasiram, Ratiram and Vishwanath received the cheques from the Minister.
