He also instructed police officers to make fool-proof security management of the venue of inspection.

Nodal officer R Ekka said that the first stage of inspection of electronic voting machines would be done in the presence of representatives of national parties and State level recognised political parties. For this, the presidents of the political parties have been informed to send the list of representatives and their passport size photographs for issuance of entry pass to them. They were also asked to be present at the inspection venue, he added. Ekka said that along with taking attendance of the representatives at the venue of inspection, their signature would also be collected in the pink paper seal to be placed on the control unit. All kinds of electronic devices, mobile, camera, spy pen etc would completely be banned at the venue of inspection. Entry of representatives to the inspection venue would be strictly through the entry pass issued from the election office, he added.
