The first session of fourth State legislative Assembly of Chhattisgarh would begin on January 6.
The notification of five-day long Winter Session was issued by Principal Secretary, Chhattisgarh legislative Assembly Devendra Verma on Tuesday. According to the notification, in all, a total of five meetings on temporary basis would be held during the session.
On January 6, the newly appointed members would be administered oath and the selection of Speaker of State Assembly would be also be taken up the same day. On January 7, Governor Shekhar Dutt will address the House and on January 8, 9 and 10, discussion would be held on the motion of thanks over the address of the Governor.
