The newly-appointed General Manager of South East Central Railway (SECR) Naveen Tandon was on a brief tour of the Raipur circle on Thursday.
Tandon was welcomed by Divisional Railway Manager (DRM), Raipur Circle Rajeev Saxena on his first visit to the city after taking over charge as the General Manager of Bilaspur Railway Zone of SECR, according to an SECR press release issued here on Thursday
During his brief tour, Tandon carried out an inspection of the Raipur Railway Station and took stock of the various passenger amenities available at the Station.
Speaking on the occasion, the General Manager said that all the proposed projects in the division would be completed on time. ‘The first priority of the Railways is the safety of the passengers’.
He also had a look at the Control Room for monitoring CCTV camera coverage at Raipur Station.
