The final round of training for the staff deputed for vote counting scheduled on December 11 for the assembly polls will be held on Monday (December 10) from 2 pm at Shankar Nagar based District Institute of Education and Training (DIET).
The training is for Raipur district based Counting Supervisor, Counting Assistant, micro-observers and staff who will transport the EVMs to counting tables.
Earlier, the training was scheduled at Sejbahar based Government Engineering College, premises where the strong room is situated. But it has been shifted to DIET, Shankar Nagar.
District Electoral Officer and Collector Dr Basavaraju S has directed all theemployees deputed for counting to attend the training without fail.
Deputy District Electoral Officer intimated that the duty list of employees deputed for the counting will be in which assembly constituency will be decided on December 10 in presence of election observers. It would be done after the second round of randomisation. The list will be pasted on the notice board of DIET, Shankar Nagar.
