The final list for Sub-Inspectors was finally released by Director General of Police (DGP) Ramniwas on Saturday in presence of Chairman of selection committee Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) RK Viz.
In all 675 candidates were selected against 731 posts released. Appointments on rest of posts have been kept vacant on the order of High Court Bilaspur as they were related to kin of former military men. The recruitment on these 56 posts will be done after direction from court is obtained. The results are available on the official website of Chhattisgarh Police www.cgpolice.gov.in.
It may be mentioned that 1,950 had qualified for interview out of which 10 remained absent. The rest have been selected on the basis of their position in merit list.
