Chief Minister Raman Singh on Thursday issued directives to Sports and Youth Welfare Department to ensure recruitment on vacancies of coaches and district sports officers in all the districts of State as soon as possible.
Singh gave instructions in this context to Commissioner, Sports and Youth Welfare Department in response to the application of sportspersons received during Jandarshan programme, which was held at his residence in Raipur.
The Chief Minister on Thursday met nearly 1500 people in his Jandarshan programme.
This includes 673 persons in 84 delegations, who handed over memorandums concerning public grievances to him. Besides, 889 persons gave individual applications to Singh.
