Raipur City Congress president Vikas Upadhyay raised question on the ongoing ration card verification work being undertaken in the district and said that an atmosphere of fear has been created by the State Government and BJP leaders in the name of verification. Upadhyay along with the residents of Thakkar Bapa Ward met the Raipur District Collector on Tuesday and handed over a memorandum while seeking a prompt solution to problems being faced by the people. Through the memorandum, the people demanded to stop the ration card verification process and for starting a cleanliness drive in their ward.
