January 31 is the last day for procurement of paddy under minimum support price from farmers and keeping in mind for heavy rush of farmers for selling their produces during final days Raipur district collector Basavaraju S. has directed to issue tokens to the registered farmers to avoid any difficulties to farmers.
He was reviewing the paddy procurement progress in Raipur district on Saturday. Raipur district has recorded 85 percent of target for paddy procurement so far.
He directed that in places where more than 80 percent procurement is completed, Food, Cooperative Bank and Cooperative department district and block level team should be constituted to submit report.
