Chhattisgarh Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain on Friday exhorted officials to act immediately on the priority schemes of the government and extend their benefits to the target groups.
He said this at a review meeting with officials here.
Various flagship schemes are being run by the government for the prosperity of the people. It must be ensured that the benefits reach the target group, he said.
The Chief Secretary also sought information on implementation of the flagship schemes.
The Secretary, Health and Family Welfare, Shahla Nigar, said that the Haat Bazar clinics were successfully being carried out at the weekly markets of villages.
The Forest and Climate Change Department presented the data of river-side plantations.
Officials of the Panchayat Department said the average man days in the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MNREGA) work was affected due to the strike of employees. Now the department had taken up the matter as a top priority.
