Police unearthed explosives from a dense forest pocket of the Maoist hit district on Friday, informed an official statement released from the office of Superintend of Police Rajnandgaon Dr Sanjeev Shukla.
According to police, it got information that some unidentified persons had buried explosives in jungle between Job and Bijepar village. As soon as information was confirmed a team along with bomb disposal squad was sent to spot and after through search of area the explosive dump was found on the bank of a stream. About 3 kg gun powered, 4 detonators, wire urea, one and half kg nut bolt were seized. Case in this connection has been registered with Chhuriya police station.
