District Collector Himshikhar Gupta has directed the Chief Municipal Officer to conduct a survey as per the laid out guidelines and expedite the work of collecting municipal taxes. During a meeting held here, Gupta made it mandatory for the traders to get registered their shops under Gumasta Act within three days of the opening of their shop.
Collector also asked officials to ensure that shops should be closed before 7 am and after 10 pm. He said that it is also mandatory to provide weekly offs to the employees working in the shops or other business establishments. Moreover, the Collector asked SDMs to make adequate arrangements for the uninterrupted water supply in their respective regions during the summer months.
