Chief Executive Officer of Naya Raipur Development Authority Amit Katariya has instructed officials to speed up construction and development works of Naya Raipur on Sunday.
He reviewed different development and construction works at a meeting held at NRDA headquarters in Naya Raipur. He also sought information about the progress of construction of buildings of various departments and development of various sectors.
According to an official press statement issued here on Sunday, Katariya instructed to complete the remaining construction work of HoD building at the earliest. Information about the underground water supply from Mahanadi to Naya Raipur was sought at the meeting. The officers informed that the pipeline laying work has been completed and after testing, water from Mahanadi would be supplied to Capital Complex and residential colony at Sector 27 from next month.
The CEO instructed to speed up the infrastructure development work of the villages of Naya Raipur under the Village Development scheme. He sought information about the beautification and conservation of Jhanjh and Sendh lakes. He said that next six months were left for the construction, as the development works would be affected with the arrival of monsoon.
Katariya also discussed on the measures being taken for the maintenance of saplings. He instructed to complete the power sub stations and lED street lighting works in Naya Raipur by March next. In this phase about 40 km lighting on 27 km roads in Naya Raipur will be completed.
