District Collector Bhim Singh has directed officials to increase the pace of on-going construction works with special focus on construction of lavatories in the schools of the district. Singh, in a joint meeting with PWD and Rural Engineering Services (RES) officials, also directed to submit the report of the construction works completed in the district.
While reviewing the development works of RES Department, the Collector said that the officials would be liable for any inferior quality of construction works. He also directed to construct separate lavatories for boys and girls while ensuring that they get completed by March end. The lavatories should not be kept locked any time during school hours, he said.
