Collector Bhim Singh has directed that those bankers who are yet to appoint their business correspondents in the district should make appointments for the same within 20 days and start opening the bank accounts of the people.
In a meeting held here, Singh said that the business correspondents can take help of Sarpanch, secretaries and other public representatives to open the bank accounts for the people in their region .He said that the status of the number of bank accounts opened would be reviewed in the Gram Sabha to be held on October 2.
