The Chhattisgarh Government will be observing the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee as ‘Good Governance Day’ on Friday.
As per the programme, the Bemetara district administration has put up a photo-exhibition highlighting life and achievement of the former Prime Minister at the Collectorate from Thursday.
The exhibition will be open for public during working hours.
To mark the occasion, District Collector Rita Shandilya has directed officials to conduct seminar and debate in district panchayat, Janpad/gram panchayat, Municipal PCouncil and Nagar anchayat on topics relevant to Good Governance.
Moreover, the Collector also instructed officials to organise essay writing competition for students.
