Ex-CM accuses Cong of grabbing land

BJP national Vice President and former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh has accused the Congress of grabbing land meant for other purposes to construct the party headquarters in districts.

“The Congress party and Chief Minister are involved in false propaganda and   self-adulation,” he tweeted, adding that they were     cheating their own central leadership and the people. “It is humiliating!”

Raman Singh tweeted photos of documents to show that the land for 'Rajiv Bhavan' in Kawardha for which foundation had been laid was given to Home Guards in 2012.

The Congress, he said, has now taken it to build its own district office.

He further tweeted: “Not only Kawardha, but in Bilaspur and other districts also the land allocated for construction of ‘Rajiv Bhavan’ are in controversy... Rajiv Gandhi’s soul will be in pain.”
