Various events were held at the regional and divisional offices of the Punjab National Bank (PNB) to mark its 129th foundation.
An official communiqué on Thursday said the programmes were inaugurated by Regional Manager V Srinivas by garlanding a portrait of the bank's co-founder Lala Lajpat Rai.
The foundation day is a milestone and is a celebration of achievements, Srinivas said.
“It is the effort of the bank to provide modern banking services to our customers and make them prosperous,” he added.
