In order to check Naxalism, the police administration in the district has been devising several strategies, including holding awareness programmes in the villages.
On the other hand, even villagers including children and women have also come on the streets to oppose Naxalism.
Recently, the police administration held an essay competition in different schools in Dornapal to know the opinion of students regarding Naxalism in which 339 children participated.
The police have offered guidelines to the students on how to end Naxalism. In the essay competition, it was stated how Naxalism has been creating obstacles in the educational and other developmental activities. The police department will award the best essay writer on August 15.
As it was regular teaching hours, the police administration has borrowed 45 minutes (one period) to get the essay written by children, while expressing their independent views on Naxalism. The children suggested various methods to eliminate Naxalism.
