The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of Chhattisgarh on Monday interrogated Aman Singh, a former senior bureaucrat and Principal Secretary to former Chief Minister Raman Singh, over charges of amassing disproportionate assets.
The Director General of Police EOW, D.M. Awasthi, told The Pioneer that investigations were on against him on charges of amassing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
According to information, he was summoned by EOW two days ago and Aman Singh was asked to be present for interrogation on March 6.
His interrogation began at 12 noon and continued till late in the evening.
The Supreme Court and the Chhattisgarh High Court recently refused to provide him relief. The High Court rejected his interim bail plea.
