The Woman and Child Development Department has invited entries for the bravery awards from boys and girls in the age group of below 18 years.
The award is given to children who have displayed extraordinary courage, bravery and intelligence in dealing with a tough situation in a year (between January 1, 2013 to December 31, 2013). The award comprises a cash amount and an appreciation letter, an official Press release issued here on Thursday stated. Apart from the award, the children are also offered scholarships.
The entries are to reach the Office of the District Programme Officer, Woman and Child Development Department at the District Collectorate, Gariaband latest by January 10 this year.
