At a meeting of the Integrated Tribal Project Implementation Committee held here, Collector R Prasanna asked officials concerned to ensure linking beneficiaries to livelihood and their placement in the institutions concerned, after imparting training under the project.
He also directed officials to to complete incomplete works under the project and to hand over completed works to the department concerned. The Collector also told them to start all the works of 2012-13 session and complete them by January next. The Collector instructed the Horticulture department to prepare a list of works done, get approval of the district panchayat general meeting, and get the work inspected by the Janpad CEO.
list of the beneficiaries to be taken under various training programmes should be taken under Chhattisgarh Skill Development Mission and they be given priority. The Collector instructed to release fund immediately to the self-help groups for manufacturing of centering plate and cement board. He asked to get the quality check of beneficiary oriented works by people’s representatives.
Collector Prasanna instructed the officers to distribute materials under various schemes, including project head, to the beneficiaries in the presence of people’s representatives. For that, presence of concerned Janpad general meeting, district panchayat member, sarpanch, and other people’s representatives should be sought after providing information about the materials to be distributed and the place.
He said to make seeds available before the prescribed time of sowing. Arrangements should be made for more number of soil testing. Project administrator informed the meeting that basic infrastructure has been constructed for the better implementation of various trainings and projects.
The fund received under the project head is being utilized in infrastructure work, small irrigation, agriculture, horticulture, fisheries, small forest produce, small industries and for organisation of self-employment trainings in cluster villages. Project administrator of integrated tribal development project HD Mishra, assistant commissioner tribal development Dr lalit Shukla, Janpad CEO and officers of departments concerned were present in the meeting.
