Collector Rita Shandilya has asked all the staff and officers of Revenue department to work with promptitude and ensure that the name of the district always remain in the top ten list of the region, as far as disposal of revenue case in concerned. Patwari of every tehsil in the district should mark a village and make it ‘zero’ revenue dispute village, she added.
In a review meeting held at the Collectorate, the collector gaveinstructions to the revenue officers to set up camps in villages with an aim of disposal of cent per cent revenue cases. Revenue officers should ensure removal of encroachment from government land of the area concerned on top priority. She asked the schools to arrange details of domicile certificates to be prepared and make the information available to district office without any delay.
The collector asked the tehsildars to submit proposals for construction of revenue record room in tehsils to the district office and to ensure that purchases are done as per the approved budget only.The collector instructed nayab tehsildars to get digital signaturesprepared within a week and to dispose of pending applications at Public Service Centers and at the same time, asked the SDMs for regular review of these centers. She asked the officers to enter old pending cases of Revenue department in the case register and resolve them on top priority.
During the meeting, the collector touched many issues like, registration of undisputed land, recovery of outstanding dues from former Sarpanchs, cent per cent recovery of land revenue etc. She told the revenue officers to pay special attention to mineral revenue.The collector told the tehsildars and nayab tehsildars to pay time to time inspection of midday meals and Anganbadies. She asked the superintendent land Records to provide lap tops to all nayab tehsildars of the district.
The officers submitted details of revenue recovery and settlement of cases. They were asked to make proper publicity of voter list updation by August 2 next.Additional collector SK Sharma, joint collector PP Pradhan, sub divisional magistrate JS Rajput, deputy collector PK Shandilya, tehsildars, nayab tehsildars and departmental officers were present in the meeting.
