Chhattisgarh’s Commissioner of Public Education Dr. Kamalpreet Singh has told all Divisional Joint Directors and District Education Officers to ensure that all government as well as private schools fully follow the Covid-19 guidelines.
In a letter, it was said that earlier also these instructions were given from Class I to XII in government, government-aided and private schools.
All the officers have to ensure that these are strictly followed to prevent corona infection, an official statement said on Wednesday.
On Tuesday, five students of the Government Higher Secondary School in Bagbahara in Mahasamund district tested Covid positive, leading to the closure of schools and Anganwadi centres in the area for a week.
