The Chhattisgarh State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (CGSCPCR) Chairperson Shatabdi Pande has urged the villagers of Deobhog to enroll their children in ‘Bal Gruh’ (Childcare Centre) functioning under the Child Welfare Committee of their district if they are unable to bear their welfare expenses.
Notably, the CWC members will look after the child with the financial support of the State Government, said Pande during a Free Children Medical Camp held at Deobhog on Monday.
She requested the residents to join hands in abolishing child labour and violence concerning this genre. Over 150 children underwent health check up at the camp.
