Eight Naxals, after being with left wing insurgents for about a decade in the restive Kondagaon district in Bastar region, finally rested their arms before Superintendent of Police Abhishek Meena here on Monday.
They (surrendered Naxals) were deeply disturbed over the shabby treatment meted out to them by the senior Maoist cadres from Andhra Pradesh, Meena said.
The surrendered ultras were identified as Satau Nag (26), Daya Kalar (22), Mansharam (30) , Sanau Gond (25) who are all residents of Kulanar besides Shobharaya (33), Gagru (50), Ganjo Marvai (55) and Ayatu alias Fagnu (35) are residents of Badgai village of Bastar region.
