Congress legislature Party (ClP) leader TS Singhdeo has demanded Enforcement Directorate (ED) to investigate the Agusta Westland Chopper deal in Chhattisgarh.
In a letter addressed to ED, Director, Singhdeo while pointing out the chopper deal in Chhattisgarh wrote “an international monetary transaction happened in the case and amount was paid in foreign currency to a company much over and above the price of the Helicopter.”
The said matter was taken up by the CAG in its report while pointing out the loss to exchequer and action on the same was been recommended by the Public Accounts Committee of 2013 - 2014 of Chhattisgarh Assembly, he stated.
