The Raipur Municipal Corporation (RMC) has launched a massive drive to remove unauthorised posters and banners in the city.
Under this move, a team of RMC employees on Monday removed over 100 such banners and posters put up on city’s electric poles, road dividers and prominent squares.
Notably, the drive was carried out in areas falling under limits of RMC's Zone-4.
Under the leadership of Zone-4 Commissioner Krishna Khatik and Deputy Engineer of the RMC’s Town and Planning Department Sushil Ahire, a team of employees removed illegal banners/posters from roads between Jaisthamb Chowk and Telibandha Ring Road square, Raj Bhavan to Akashwani and a stretch between Mahila Thana, Motibagh and Devendra Nagar Chowk.
