Bijapur police have succeeded in arresting a dreaded Maoist insurgents carrying reward on his head during search operation in the Jungles of Pamalvaya Village, police said.
According to police department sources, a joint team of district police and Chhattisgarh Armed Forces (CAF) had left Modakpal police station for conducting search operation in nearby villages on Friday.
During the search operation in the jungles located near Pamalvaya village the team arrested a dreaded insurgent carrying `5,000 reward on his head.
The accused insurgent was identified as Some (28 years) who was involved in a dozen of cases of murder, loot, arson and blasts. During interrogation police claimed to have extracted valuable information from the accused.
