Dr Pritam Ram Tirkey, the MLA from Lundra, was on Saturday appointed as Chairman of the Chhattisgarh Medical Services Corp Ltd (CGMSC).
The Health and Family Welfare Department said Dr Tirkey is being appointed till further orders.
Similarly, Dr Vinay Jaiswal, the Mahendragarh MLA, Dr K K Dhruv, the Marwahi MLA, and Neelabh Dubey are being appointed as Directors on the Board of Directors.
The order said the Principal Secretary/Secretary, Health and Family Welfare Department, was being relieved as Chairman and appointed as ex-officio Director of CGMSC. The other members will retain their positions.
