Chhattisgarh Assembly Speaker Dr Charandas Mahant on Wednesday paid homage to veteran Congress leader and former Chief Minister of undivided Madhya Pradesh Motilal Vora, saying he appreciated people with "a clean image".
Sharing his memories, Dr Mahant said: “I always received fatherly love from Motilal Vora and I actually learned politics and public speaking from him. He was non-compromising on cleanliness in public as well as social life. He liked people with a clean image."
Chhattisgarh received national level recognition because of Vora, he said in a press release. Vora, who was Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh twice and the Governor of Uttar Pradesh once, passed away on Monday in New Delhi.
