Renowned scientist Dr Anil Kakodkar and Vice Chairman of National Disaster Management Authority M Shashidhar Reddy would take part in the International Conference on Humanitarian logistics (ICHl) being organised by IIM-Raipur on December 2-3 in the city.
According to IIM officials, Dr Anil Kakodkar, DAE Homi Bhabha Chair Professor and Former Chairman, Atomic Energy Commission, Government of India will be addressing ICHl2013 during the Valedictory function on December 3, 2013 at Hotel VW Canyon, Raipur. Shashidhar Reddy would be the Chief Guest of the occasion.
ICHl2013 intends to stimulate innovative ideas, practices and processes to build capacity for supply chains that meet elementary human needs around the world. It brings together high-level speakers from across humanitarian sectors, including Government, Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs), policy makers, industry, academia and Government for deliberations and cross-fertilisation of ideas, experiences and best practices adopted in the world, IIM officials said.
