The Delhi Public School (DPS), Bhilai students participated in the regional level of the third International life Skills, Values, Gender, School Health & Well-Being Summit 2014 organised by the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi.The Summit was organised in joint association with M/s. Expressions India, New Delhi at Apeejay School, Salt lake, Kolkata on October 30 and 31, 2014, a DPS press release issued here on Monday stated.
Abhilash Sengupta(XII), Priyal Reddy(XI), Vedant Rajoo(XI), Vidushi Bhandari(XI) attended the regional level summit along with Soju Samuel, Health Wellness Teacher, who escorted the students for the summit.The two-day summit incorporated numerous competitions, national youth health parliament and workshops.
Abhilash Sengupta and Vedant Rajoo stood second in the Adolescent Whiz Quiz Competition. Abhilash Sengupta, Priyal Reddy, Vedant Rajoo and Vidushi Bhandari bagged the second prize for ‘Create a Thematic Jingle (Advertisement)’ Competition.Abhilash Sengupta, Priyal Reddy, Vedant Rajoo and Vidushi Bhandari bagged the second position for Theme Song on ‘Gender and Values’.Priyal Reddy was awarded the first consolation for ‘On the Spot Poster Making Competition’.
The school team was also awarded second consolation for the Global School Health Exhibition. They will also be participating in the International level Summit scheduled to be held at The laxman Public School, Hauz Khas Enclave, New Delhi from December 10 to 12, 2014.
